Lenalidomide is a tremendous generic medication used to treat anemia in patients with a definite type of MyeloDysplastic Syndrome (MDS). A patient with MDS lacks the number of red blood cell in the body. Thus, often require transfusion of blood. The medication, when given in combination with Dexamethasone, treats multiple myeloma or plasma cell or bone marrow cancer especially in patients who have received at least one prior therapy.

Dosing for Anemia patients with MSD:
For Adults: 10 mg once a day with water; Children: As directed by a physician.
Dosing for multiple myelomas:

Patient on Lenalidomide therapy may encounter some common side effects like Diarrhea, Dizziness, Gastric upset, Stomach pain, Nausea, Vomiting, Headaches, Fatigue, Loss of appetite and weight loss.
- Do not take this medication in simultaneous with alcoholic beverages else may have to encounter severe bleeding.
- Do not drive a vehicle just after the intake of Lenalid because it may enhance the drowsiness or dizziness.
- Do not give this medication to patient you have reported allergic to it.
- Do not give this medication to pregnant women or breastfeeding mothers nursing a baby.
Keep the medication at controlled room temperature away from direct heat, sunlight, and moisture. Place the medication away from the children reach.
